Blindshoot
Description of App
Blindshoot is a game for people who are blind. Your goal is to save your planet with an invulnerable spaceship. Note: the game is for blind people, so during the game, the screen will be black. But Blindshoot is fun if you are not blind, too!

Accessibility Comments
You will need to toggle VoiceOver off to play this game. Then, simply flip your iDevice into landscape mode. A voice will then give you a basic introduction, telling you which areas of the screen you need to tap. Once playing a game, it's just a case of tapping on the left, right or center of the screen.

#1 toggle for voice over?
I don't remember how to toggle voice over off and on with the iPhone 4s. Thanks for any help.
#2 Tripple clicking the Home
Tripple clicking the Home button is a shortcut that can be set up in the accessibility options in the Settings menu to toggle VO on and off. Hope this helps.
#3 blindshoot
Thanks, I got it set up. Works well.

#5 Harder than it looks
You have to steer inn the oposite direction of the sound.
#6 Problem since I updated
Hi! I recently updated Blindshoot to version 1.1, and I finally got round to playing it today, or at least trying to play it. The game started with an introduction, which included telling me to change the phone to landscape orientation, but, in spite of unlocking the orientation of the phone and being told by VoiceOver that I was in landscape orientation before I toggled VO off, nothing seems to be happening at all after the intro, and the phone remains silent whether I turn it or tap it or whatever. Has anybody else upgraded Blindshoot to version 1.1 and had the same problem, or can someone advise me about how to get Blindshoot version 1.1 to work?
#7 Order matters
Hi. The order makes a difference with this app. Glad to know it's not just me. To play:
1. Unlock your phone's orientation.
2. Open Blindshoot.
3. Wait for Alex's intro, then slowly turn your phone to landscape right. If Alex doesn't continue chattering, close app from switcher and try again.
It may take a few tries unless you know your gyro really well. I like the new sounds they've added; makes gameplay easier. Hope this works for you.
#8 Broken?
I don't own this app myself, but a post elsewhere on this site suggests that the current version (1.1) is broken.
Has anybody else found the same?
#9 Version 1.1 Works Fine
David,
I was able to play on version 1.1 on my iPhone 4 just fine.
1) Turn off Voice Over
2) Hold the device in the portriat mode
3) Open the Game
4) Listen for the Intro and when it says to turn your device to the landscape mode turn it with the Home button on your right.
5) Once you have turn the device with the home button on the right. It should continue with the directions. Pressing the top portion of the screen begin the game. Pressing the bottom part of the screen will give you the directions of the game.
Hope that works.
