Accessibility Comments
This app has a couple of minor issues for VoiceOver users, but is mostly accessible.
The page loaded when you start the app shows a small number of featured titles. These are presented in the form of a slideshow, with each displayed on screen for about 10 seconds. VoiceOver will read the information for each, but with no sight it can be a little confusing at first and difficult to keep up with what is happening on screen.
However, browsing of movies and TV shows is easy, with an intuitive layout and clearly labelled buttons.
When viewing the information page for any movie or TV show, some active page elements are not announced as such by VoiceOver. So, make sure to double-tap on anything you think might be an active element (such as 'Episodes' and 'Extras').
When viewing a movie or TV show, it is not possible to access the playback controls with VoiceOver enabled. Well, that is not totally correct, as it can be done, but you need to briefly disable VoiceOver to get things working. This is what I had to do - when watching something I briefly disable VoiceOver via a triple-press of the home button. A single tap on the screen will now make the playback controls appear. These are automatically hidden after a few seconds. However, if I turn VoiceOver back on, double-tapping on the screen will now make the playback controls appear. They are clearly labelled, and work with VoiceOver.
These are the only issues that I have found with this app.
