This is fully accessible (see its entry in the App Directory).

It usually sells for $3.99, but is free for a limited time.

Here's the description from the App Store:

See what's connected to the public WiFi networks you're connecting too. This all-in-one information application is an extremely fast and thorough security solution for every user.
LANScan is an application developed for Network Administrators and IT Managers but presented in a format targeted for non-professionals. This application allows you to view information about all the devices on a local network. Network devices are displayed in a very logical and convenient format for displaying the most pertinent information about each device.

When scanning the local network for all attached devices, LANScan will probe the network using:

  • TCP Connect Scanning: attempting to establish a TCP connection with each IP address on the local network.
  • ARP Scanning: The ARP table is scanned for any devices attached to the network that doesn’t respond to a TCP connect.
  • NetBIOS Scanning: Finding all devices on the network that respond to a NetBIOS query.
  • Bonjour Scanning: Scan the network for all services on the local network that are broadcasting bonjour services.
  • Reverse DNS: All devices are also queried for hostname information using multicast queries.
  • Port Scanning: When detailed information is requested, a very fast port scan is also displayed.
  • Wake On LAN: Wake devices on the LAN which are configured for remote wake up.

All information gathered is presented to the user in a easy to understand user interface including dictionary lookups for known MAC addresses, common port addresses and many bonjour services. All designed to give the user an understanding of all the devices connected to a local network.
